Website: How to find the Web Browser Version in use

Created by Cheryl from Digital Support, Modified on Wed, 15 Sep, 2021 at 12:07 PM by Courtney from Customer Support

The major Web Browsers (and most other software) offer a "Help" option often accessed with a "?" icon.

  • Clicking on this option typically gives a series of other options including "About ....".
  • Clicking on the "About ..." option provides the:
    • Name of the browser/program.
    • The Version Number.
    • Last Revision Date.
    • Publisher Name (Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, etc.)

This information can be very beneficial, and often absolutely necessary when our team is trying to troubleshoot issues.
